Hi, I’m Dalila.
I’m studying web development because I want to learn how websites work and how to build my own. I like technology, design, and creating things that look clean and simple. I’m excited to learn more about HTML, CSS, and everything else that helps me make real websites. This foundational website serves as my personal portfolio for CIS515, a central hub where I will collect, organize, and showcase all of my projects as I learn more about web development. Instead of having files scattered across different folders, this website keeps everything together, making it easy for me, my instructor, and future visitors to navigate through my learning journey.
This site represents the beginning of my path as a web developer. Right now, it contains the foundational elements I’ve learned so far including basic HTML structure, semantic tags, navigation, linked pages, and simple content organization. As the course continues, I will expand this site with more advanced features, including improved layouts, styling with CSS, interactive elements using JavaScript, and eventually back‑end functionality. Each update will be visible here, showing how every lesson builds on the last and how my understanding of web development grows step by step.
Outside of school, I love camping, exploring new places, and being outdoors. I enjoy figuring things out and learning new skills, so web development feels like a perfect fit. This website will hold my projects for CIS515 as I learn more throughout the course.
